DMP names Jim Hawthorne as director of sales, retail solutions

DMP has announced that Jim Hawthorne has been named as director of sales, retail solutions. Since 2014, Hawthorne has served as DMP’s director of sales, East.

“Under Jim’s leadership, our domestic sales team has made numerous great strides with various retail projects,” said Mark NeSmith, vice-president of Sales, in a prepared statement. “With this head start, Jim is the natural fit to expand DMP’s position and take charge of establishing DMP as the preeminent leader in retail security.”

Hawthorne has spent the majority of his career in the security industry. In 2003, he joined DMP as its regional sales manager for the Southeast sales territory.

“Jim has been widely respected for constantly striving for and achieving exceptional growth,” NeSmith added. “DMP has become the market leader with multi-site security, and with Jim guiding our efforts, I have no doubt that DMP will lead the retail chain market as their provider of choice.”
